I suppose this could go either here or in the genetics forum but I was wonderin' is there any good article I could read or some advice I could get from y'all on better understandin' TQ genetics?
I mean I basically understand the whole dominate/recessive genetics principle - like if a TQ is HMZ for dapple, it'll pass on that gene, and if both sire and dam are HMZ gray the foal'll be gray. But I kindof lose my prediction abilities when it comes to breeding TQs of different colors together and things of that nature.
I just want to be more knowledgeable when it comes to breeding so I can achieve my breeding goals. c: Help?
