Inactivity will be taken seriously.
For the record, the word "active" will be defined as someone who is on the message boards regularly and actually posts to interact with other members. To check a member's activity level, each member's profile will be viewed to see how many posts they have made in a one month period. If a member has less than ten posts, they will be flagged as inactive. If a member has more than ten posts, their posts will be divided up by their topic (IE: Sales, foals, pickups, chat) and each category will be given a percentage based on the member's total posts and how many posts were made per category. Active members are expected to participate in chat, sales, breedings, shows, and festivities. If a member is found to only be checking the board to snag foal frenzies and monthly breedings, they will be flagged as inactive!
When you are flagged as inactive, your name will be moved down to the bottom of the member list and greyed out. Once this happens, you will no longer collect a salary, nor will you be allowed to just "show up" one day and snag a spot in the Foal Frenzy or monthly breedings. Likewise, your entire stable will be inactive and no sales or studs will be permitted from your stable.
If you return to Tiniquines to find that you are on the inactive list of members, you must PM either Raven or Tiffany to be removed from the inactive member list to the probationary list. However, you must remain on the inactive list for a total of one week before you are eligible for probation. While you are on probation, your name will be in yellow on the member list. Probation lasts for a total of one month, during which you will be monitored for activity.
During the first two weeks of probation, you will not be allowed to breed, sell, or stud your tiniquines. You will only be allowed to participate in chat, shows, purchase tiniquines, or partake in festivals. If, after the first two weeks, you are reviewed as an active member, your privileges to breed, sell, and stud your tiniquines will be returned to you. If you should fall inactive during the second two weeks of your probation you will automatically be moved back to the inactive member list.
If you remain active during your entire probation, you will be moved back to the active member list.
The reasons for the restrictions on inactive/probationary members are:
-Salaries are not to be stockpiled for inactive members to return to the game at a later date and realize they are filthy rich.
-Breedings are restricted due to the fact that someone could say they are serious about returning, then breed a foal during their probationary time, and then disappear again.
-Sales are restricted for the same reason salaries are.
-Studs are restricted for the same reason salaries are.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have a valid reason for being inactive (IE: computer crash, life issues) then please post on the message board that you are going to be away.
There is a thread in the Member Lounge to reply to if you are going to be absent for any period of time, IE: real life issues, vacation, busy with school, family death, etc. If you disappear and have not replied to the away thread, you cannot expect us to excuse your absense.
